The world we live in moves fast. So many demands are placed on us at work, home, in our communities - how do we keep up? Many times, we respond by digging in and working harder. But still, we don’t feel satisfied, connected, fulfilled. What’s the answer? How can you find peace? How can you better manage stress? How can you show up for this life - for all the large and small moments?
Regular meditation practice allows us to truly be present and enjoy our lives fully. The practice of sitting in meditation helps the mind to focus on the here and now, and over time, that training spills over into our non-sitting lives. We begin to awaken to what IS, right now. The benefits? Scientific research has proven that meditation practice helps to improve relationships, decrease stress, improve health, and attention.
THANKING A MONKEY
There’s a monkey in my mind
swinging on a trapeze,
reaching back to the past
or leaning into the future,
never standing still.
Sometimes I want to kill
that monkey, shoot it square
between the eyes so I won’t
have to think anymore

Mindful Living Coaching and Consulting

Mindful Living is all about extending your awareness, presence, and calm beyond your meditation practice and into your awakened life. Either individually or in groups, work with the coach to explore where you are experience stress, tension, and tightness in your life. Then, find ways to bring a sense of calm and ease to the things that matter most to you.
One-on-one and group coaching are available. In addition, The Well Journey works with organizations to introduce Mindful Living (and Working!) to your team and/or staff.
